We Believe Together
Making an impact on the communities where we live and work has been a fundamental component of Wilson Bank & Trust’s identity since the beginning. Through our We Believe Together program, an employee-led initiative to impact their communities, every employee is charged with delivering support to a local non-profit organization by raising or donating funds for a local, team-chosen organization and giving back through volunteer support. Along with Bank-wide community or charity initiatives, employees also have the opportunity to participate in department or office charitable giving, and are provided with paid volunteer time to utilize for an organization of their choosing.
Banker's Academy Program
The Banker's Academy Program is a unique banking opportunity built to give participants a high level overview of the dynamic world of finance. Designed for recent college graduates, this program offers an unparalleled opportunity to dive into the financial services industry. With a comprehensive curriculum, we ensure that our Academy Bankers gain valuable insights into every facet of our bank. Our approach is all-encompassing, providing participants with on-the-job training in both retail and operational areas. The structured curriculum includes rotations through vital departments of the bank like accounting, deposit operations, loan servicing, regulatory, compliance, new accounts, and various other operational divisions. The goal is to not only observe and learn but more importantly, to actively participate in the daily activities of each department, allowing deeper understanding of the roles, processes, and workflows that drive our bank's success. This immersive experience equips these bankers with a deeper understanding of our products, services, and operations.
